Doctor vs. Doctor Announce Media Partners

Yuma, AZ (April 20, 2009)— The Arizona Western College Foundation and the Foundation of Yuma Regional Medical Center are proud to announce the Doctor vs Doctor event. The two Foundations have made yet another announcement about the revived Doctor vs Doctor charity event. Today the Foundations announced that El Dorado Broadcasters (KTTI, KQSR & KBLU) and the Sun newspaper have committed to be media sponsors for the upcoming event.

The event is a fundraiser bringing physicians and academic doctors to the table with recipes to wow the taste buds. The Red-Carpet-esque event will take place on Saturday, May 2nd at the newest building on the Arizona Western College main campus. The event will kick off as doors open at 5:30 pm in the Dr. Don Schoening Conference Center in the AWC 3C Building.

Teams of four (4) will be vying for the best taste of the night and Grand Chef title. The team entries are only $100 and will include free admission to the event and a keepsake for the team leader. Team entries are due by Monday, April 20th.

Tickets for guests for the fundraiser are $50 per person. The event will feature silent and live auctions, tasting of the recipes, gourmet mashed potato and salad bars.
